Sun and Moon
Fugitive dragon fleeing from the Solar Empire, now serving as a guard of Grapeville.
Ashmore stands a bit over a colt in heigh, with red scales and orange spines and scutes. His tail spade is a darker shade of red than his scale. The two horns on the sides of his heads are very angular in shape, and he has a third horn on the center of his snout. He has deep red eyes, and four large teeth that protruding from his lips. He has a relatively large snout, and does not posses any head-fins, aside from his orange crest. Admittedly, he is a little on the chubby side.

Ashmore spent most of his early life in a small dragon colony, hidden deep within the Solar Empire. Upon being discovered by the Solar Queen, Ashmore’s family was mercilessly hunted down and slaughtered by the Royal Army. One soldier that went by the name of Firebrand instead took pity on the young hatchling, and instead of killing him he saved his life. According to the Dragon’s Code, Ashmore owed Firebrand a Life Debt, and fled with him away from the Solar Empire, from whom they were now both fugitives.
Firebrand and Ashmore took residence in the small town of Grapeville, where Firebrand became a guard, and later Ashmore did the same. It took a long time for Ashmore to become used to pony customs, and he still has a terrible habit of acting too dragonish around pony civilians (namely times where he sees jewels and can’t help but viciously devour them without mercy. His excuse was that they looked very suspicious). Thankfully, there has yet to be an issue with his Dragonheart burning too strong, despite the fact that he has a tendency to hoard money. Due to this, and an unfortunate incident where Ashmore found and ate an extremely rare and extremely valuable Crystal Bit, Firebrand now carries around all of his money (if he has any).
Despite being indebted to him, Ashmore doesn’t really like Firebrand very much, despite considering him to be his closest friend. Then again, he does have a bit of animosity towards all pony-kind, but wouldn’t you if a pony queen had ordered your entire family to be mercilessly slaughtered in front of your very eyes?
After another incident when Ashmore “accidentally” set fire to a hay barn (“Of course I knew that hay would burn! I just wanted some excitement!”), Firebrand taught him how to breathe ice, so that he could put out any fires that he “accidentally” started.
After an incident with Lizardfolk, Ashmore succeeded in saving Firebrand’s life, and therefore no longer owes him a life debt. However, he still travels with him, due to having nothing left to do.
After a trip to the plane of Chaos and meeting Discord, the God of Chaos, Ashmore acquired an amulet that supposedly would allow him to reach his later stages of maturity through the power of his greed, without the downsides of losing control. It has yet to be tested to see if it will work, but Ashmore hopes it will help him get revenge on the ones who took his family from him.
Ashmore has recently discovered that there is something he hates more than all pony-kind, and that is a pony called Painbow Dash. Ashmore will be the first to admit that he intends to “accidentally” murder Painbow at the first chance he gets, and he hopes that Lock, one of the only other ponies he actually considers a friend, will help him do it. In the meantime, Ashmore has decided he’s going to have Lock teach him how to breathe electricity…
